BULLET Time

Loud Pipes Save Lives - do they ? I wonder!!

Well that's what a sticker read on jacket of one of the riders recently. V- twins, skulls and God knows what not as I fail to make out relation between riding and such expressions of emotion. Anyhow, that's not what I am highlighting - what is, is that, in all this Bike Beer Barbecue jazz - my RE is getting neglected. And that dont leave me with a good feeling - for I want to keep that baby and keep her running. And to keep her running you got to get her on the road - which I am guilty of not doing.

So its summer time - Himalaya time - Leh time - Srinagar time - and all the other times - its BULLET time. Harpreet wanted to ride the bike for couple of days, I was more than keen to oblige. The last I washed both the bikes with pressure pump; post polish - Harley came alive while Bullet went dead. I left her to dry, thinking water must have gone in some God forsaken place and so her behavior; but that was not to be as weeks went by. So this Sunday, mistri came in and I hauled my rear to find an open shop to get battery replacement. Its been more than 3 years - I should have known. New battery, new rear view mirrors and she honored my kicks in no time - attagirl!!

My parting instructions to Harpreet - ride her hard, ride her well for its been a while. I returned to PS3 with my conscious hitting in a famous Punjabi saying "NAWE NAWE NIT KUDE, PURANE KEEHDE CHIT KUDE"

Rode her bro and rode her hard...what an experience. She is one gentle beast with an attitude to put rest to shame.CHD-FRZPR followed by CHD-Anandpur Sahib were a delight, not to overshadow the beauty of a time we had riding her in proximity too.Decade had gone by craving for this experience..."merci monsieur" from Jisha & me.
