Ketchup

Title of the post finds its way from a scene of conversation between Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace in the movie Pulp Fiction - Mia is telling Vincent a joke where three tomatoes Mama Tomato, Papa Tomato and Baby Tomato are walking down the road with Baby Tomato lingering behind - which is when Mama Tomato turns around and squishes Baby Tomato and says Ketchup - meaning Catch Up.

Not every crest and trough of feeling can be articulated as they can be very intense short term and would just not make sense outside the realm of my own mind. Which I believe all of us would go through now and then and thats just how it goes. Not much on the work front this year and not sure on how it goes on what I have decided for it, so let's see. With all the hooplah of AI this and AI that, finally got around to using it from May of this year and the technology is really something. Now I am a regular user contributing to Anthropic's monthly revenue and to its credit it really helped me find financial instruments in debt class giving better returns. Normally it is something I would expect my Bank to advise me on, but why would they right! - when clearly its not to their advantage. To my mind there is no doubt that human beings will be redundant in foreseeable future and what happens to the vast majority of us - I don't see any uplifting scenarios to say the least. Have been reading a lot on markets and trying to do it regularly for last few months now, and I would say you get a holistic view for the direction in which things are headed in general. One also sees, who is leading the way and who is merely trailing - it's all there for anyone to read.

Focusing on small things, small changes which get me to my satisfaction level - be it shifting to older office and sprucing it, or accessorising and lighting up the kitchen such that when I cook it should be something I look forward to and I really do. We are trying new recipes and expanding the spectrum of dishes we can cook at home, which are much much better than commercially available - talking of fancy foods here. Sonia has mastered some and I others.

Came to a point where there was this strong realisation that if I do not go to the gym now, it would be over and it would be soon. Went to one and didn't like the attitude - all commercial. Went to another, very very near and just as I wanted - a neat clean self help gym, with zero qualms or add ons - total old school, teleporting me back to year 2000 when I had first joined a gym. I paid instantly and enjoyed my workout of 40 days, which most of the times was me alone. Since the gym was defiant to expectations of current generation of gym goers it wasn't economically viable and shut shop despite being run on owned premises. I was disappointed - only to realise later that probably its purpose was to get me off my one and a half year hiatus and get started as I immediately joined a third gym - and this one runs 24/7.

Finally, I can be me and just show up at any hour of the night as soon as I wake up. In this world of negativity - it was and is very encouraging and positive to find other members in the gym before me walking in. Great job.

All this while, Mehtab is running around growing up and every day or other showing new things that he is picking up. Wonderful it is to see a new personality emerging around us.

That would be all - thank you for your patience.

In between, Choicy and I went upto Siachen Memorial - here is one
