The weather has changed and a sigh of relief for me personally. Countless times I would have mentioned about weather change to souls around in the past days. Pretty much everybody would resonate with same sentiment, however, for me it is more to do with reduction of work pressure and hush hush. So yea, mood is on the upswing.
Then there is the subject of Max Bupa Health Insurance. For reasons in professional arena, I had to purchase two health insurance policies last year. Not endorsing fear, believing in what is meant to be will be, I do not subscribe to this fear campaign through which many touts make their moolah. No offence. Since, no such compulsion presented this year, I promptly denied renewal for both the policies. Unbeknown to me, I was entering a world of wrath of an aggravated Health Insurance demon. A tirade of calls, sms'es, emails started following me daily without fail. Without even asking for it, I was GRANTED (read with obligation) grace period of a month to pay the premium. Throughout the month I sustained repeated questioning/reasoning by a different executive every day as to why am I making this blunder. In today's world of death, disease, poor nutrition and un-healthy lifestyle, I was literally coaxed to believe that Max Bupa was the only DADDY I could have. Clearly, making my intentions known to every caller was having no effect, I was then introduced to level next of the scam. Now I was being sent daily sms'es, that if you have a certain disease contact Max Bupa at this number for a specialist. For a while, I felt that these guys so wish I had a disease or threat of a disease. Finally, it was a threat of police complaint for harassment that put a full stop to this shameless charade. What a lot of scamsters !
Up talk, low talk, now up talk next.
Many a times I have been hearing of Netflix but never felt the need to wrap my head around the concept. Until now. It was recent now, that a few times I happened to see trailer of "Wild Wild Country" - a Netflix documentary on 'BAAGWAAN'. I had to get it and I did get it. One weekend, and Wild Wild Country was in the viewed list. The most comprehensive documentary on OSHO that I have come across thus far - loved it. Really liked the idea of being able to watch, what you want to watch and watch as many times as you want to. Its like the content isn't forced upon you and you have a choice, a say. Exciting times.
That would be all. Thanks for your time.

Well said Simran - They have an even uglier side. My dear Mother, who passed away at 88 years old in June, sent them a check for renewal of her policy in March. The bank sent it back saying the signature doesn't match - another scam - How can the signature not match for a customer who has been banking with you for 25+ years, and does this event not deserve a mere phone call before returning the cheque.
Anyway, she sent another, which arrived on their desk a day late and they refused to extend her policy. I made calls on her behalf personally, but to no avail. It was clear as daylight that they had no interest in insuring a person of her age, and were just looking for an excuse - as she was likely going to need the insurance sooner or later.
Sure enough, she had a heart attack just few months after and now she rests in eternal peace. I paid for her hospital stay during her last hours. She paid these buggers for over a decade, and when she needed them most, they just looked away.
